Holt was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart syndrome. It is one of the most severe congenital heart defects. The shield is a great representation of Holts strength. It is a reflection of the three heart surgeries he has conquered and a symbol that he continues to thrive. He is a brave warrior and our hero.
