At 16 weeks pregnant my husband and I received news that our baby would have a 1-in-19 chance of having Down syndrome.

Being nervous about health risks, scared, worried, and not knowing what our baby’s future held were tough emotions to handle.

Then on 02/22/20 our James was born.

Healthy, happy, and beautiful!!

Every worry we had melted away. He is smart, strong, resilient and so loving! His smile and laughter is contagious, his love of music uplifting - we cherish his kisses and admire his heart. We are so grateful for who he is and couldn’t be more blessed to raise him!
