Magnolia’s pregnancy came somewhat as a surprise and the surprises didn’t stop there. We were very surprised to find out we were having a girl after 3 boys and years of our oldest daughter asking for a sister. Magnolia was born 5 weeks early and then surprised us with her Down syndrome diagnosis a week later. She is absolutely the best surprise we all never knew we needed.

We had picked the name Magnolia before we ever really thought we’d be naming another baby so when we found out we were having a girl we instantly knew her name would be Magnolia. White magnolia’s signify purity and innocence. And stand for hope & faith. Magnolia has already showed us how true those traits are in the last year. She is absolutely the light of our lives and has taught us all to see the world differently.
