Mackenzie was born with Trisomy 21 and AVSD. She had open heart surgery at 4 months old at Texas Children’s in Houston and she now has a perfectly healthy heart! Kenz is our wild little fire spirited warrior that keeps us on our toes. We can’t wait to see where she will end up and what big things she will do. We’re so excited Wells Cooperative chose Kenz to be a part of their 3•21 collection. The turquoise piece is perfect for her as it takes millions of years and the right conditions for turquoise to be formed, as it took God, all of the right conditions and a strong fighter to make it where she is today. Similarly, the pink piece is from a stone called Rhodochrosite, which is a rare stone. These stones are known to open the heart, lifting depression and encouraging a positive and cheerful outlook, which if you know Kenz, that’s her in a nutshell. We are so honored to have been given something so special in honor of our sweet girl.
