Kamryn is our miracle girl. Everything about her life is a gift from God. At my anatomy scan she was diagnosed with a two vessel umbilical cord, which could have led to her being growth restricted, so I started having monthly ultrasounds. A few months later, she was measuring very small and was officially growth restricted, I began to have weekly ultrasounds and NSTs. By thanksgiving she had grown out of the 10th percentile, and the doctor suggested no more ultrasounds but that just didn’t set well with me. I asked to continue ultrasounds weekly. On December 2nd, the sonographer noticed her right side of her heart was enlarged, Kamryn was due one month from that day. We then started one of many doctors visits, which confirmed she in fact had a congenital heart defect.
