We were so excited to be pregnant again after a traumatic pregnancy loss. This was our last baby and we prayed for everything to go perfectly this time. We learned at 11 weeks gestation that Ayers would likely have Down syndrome. It was a shock but it never changed the way we felt about our rainbow baby. Ayers was just as we prayed. He was perfect at every ultrasound and even more so when he was born. Our beautiful rainbow boy is a gift and a promise. He‘s the sunshine after the rain.
