In the beginning I was in a dark place. Ryline was a birth diagnosis and Down Syndrome is not common here in Aruba. Imagine your baby being the only one born with Down Syndrome in 2018. That was Ryline. I loved her from the start but my fears and worries kept me in that dark place. But as the days, months pass by Ryline kept shining her light brighter and brighter with each passing day. Ryline shined her light and showed me the way out. The amount of Joy and happiness she has brought into our lives is unexplainable. "You are my sunshine" and "This little light of mine" are the songs I sing to her daily because that's what she does. She shines her light bright wherever she goes and to whoever she meets. Her necklace is the perfect description of how much shine she lights and I promise to help her shine her light to the whole world.
