Hudson Moon Necklace
A sweet little gold filled moon is mounted on a 14” gold filled chain.
Handmade in the USA.
Named after the son of @holdingmoonbeams
This necklace gives back to the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network.
A note from Hudson’s mama:
"It's inspired by a song from the Sound of Music (How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?). There is a line in the song that says "How do you hold a moonbeam in your hands?" That lyric struck a chord in my heart and I knew that's how I felt about parenthood. We have these little beams of light that we are responsible for growing into loving, accepting and kind human beings. We try to hold onto them as long we can...but you cannot hold on too tight. Our children slip through our fingers as time passes all too quickly."⠀
I chose a simple moon charm to symbolize my three children. As a lover of simple easy jewelry, I selected a dainty gold choker chain (14 inches). It can be layered with other necklaces or worn alone as pictured. Head on over to @wellscooperative to check out some of the other pieces created by mothers of children with Down syndrome! We hope you will enjoy the Hudson Moon Necklace.”
